Sharing Your Music

A share link plays one track on a page of its own: your name, the artwork, a waveform, and the feedback thread underneath. The listener needs no account.

Two kinds of visibility:

• Unlisted — anyone with the link can open it. It's never indexed by search engines and never listed on your profile.
• Password — the page asks for a password before it will play anything. Premium.

Each link carries its own settings, so two people can get two different deals on the same track. You pick them before you hit Create, and can change them on a live link afterwards:

• Teaser — cut the link down to one window of the track. Premium, and in the trial. See below.
• Feedback — whether listeners on this link can leave notes. Free.
• Download — hand over the file, not just playback. Premium.
• Expires — a date after which the link stops working. Premium.

Revoking a link kills it immediately. Free accounts keep 3 active links per track — revoke one to make another. Premium is unlimited, and adds per-link stats: views, plays and downloads, with the last 30 days broken out by day.

Sharing a crategives you one link that plays everything in it, in the order you arranged. The page carries the crate's name, cover, track count and total runtime, and clicking a row plays it in place. Playing out advances to the next track.

Same settings as a track link, with two differences. There's no player card when you post it — a crate has no single audio file to put in one — and it can't be a teaser, for the same reason. Allowing download on a project link allows downloading any track in the crate.

A teaser link is a track link cut down to one window. Turn on Teaser and drag a range over the waveform — that window is what plays, and the only thing the link will ever hand over. The rest of the track is never sent to the listener, so it's the link to give someone you don't want holding the record.

• Minimum 5 seconds. The upper end is the track itself.
• Preview plays the window on a loop before you make the link, so you never publish a clip you haven't heard. Nudge an edge and it re-aims without stopping.
• Move the window whenever you like — the link stays the same, what it plays changes.
• Feedback timestamps land on your timeline, not the clip's: a note 3s into a teaser starting at 0:42 shows up at 0:45 on your track page.
• Posted in Discord it unfurls as the clip, never the full song.

Teaser links are Premium, and included in the trial.

The studio makes a video, not a link — an MP4 of a section of your track, for posting anywhere that wants a file. Pick the section on the waveform, choose portrait 9:16 or landscape 16:9, and export. It renders in your browser; the file never touches our storage.

Style is yours and it sticks — set it once and every future snippet, and every teaser link you make, comes out looking the same:

• Disc — vinyl, CD, tape, the cover as a card, or none. Spin on or off.
• Accent and background — a palette, a colour picker, or your own hex.
• Visualizer — eleven of them, including none.
• Show — title, artist, cover art and timecode, each on or off. The verses.lol mark stays.

Everyone can export. Free is capped at 30s per snippet and gets the default look; Premium unlocks the style panel and lets a snippet run as long as the track.

• Share link — someone needs to hear the whole thing and give you notes.
• Project link — you're sending a body of work: an EP, a beat pack, everything you've got in a genre.
• Teaser link — the track isn't out and you want the hook heard without the file leaving your hands.
• Snippet — you're posting to a feed that wants a video, not a link.
