Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use verses.lol. You are responsible for your account, including keeping your password secure and everything that happens under it. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade suspensions. One person may not operate accounts for abusive or deceptive purposes.

You keep ownership of everything you post — your profile, listings, media, and messages (“your content”). To run the platform, you grant verses.lol a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and provide the service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for content others have already shared or that we must retain for legal reasons.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it, including any music, audio, or images you upload.

You agree not to post, upload, or do any of the following:

• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights, including uploading music you do not have the rights to.
• Post illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, or sexually exploitative content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Distribute malware, spam, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Scrape or harvest data, or access the platform through automated means without permission.
• Use the marketplace to arrange fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal transactions.

verses.lol connects artists so they can find features, trade verses, and offer or discover music services. Any deal you make is between you and the other user. verses.lol is not a party to those transactions, does not provide escrow, and does not handle payment between users — you settle payment terms, delivery, and royalty splits yourselves.

We do not guarantee the quality, legality, or completion of any collaboration or service, and we are not responsible for disputes between users. Ratings reflect the opinions of the users who leave them. Use good judgment, and put important terms in writing.

verses.lol is free to use. Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Premium is billed through a PCI-compliant payment processor at $5.99 USD per month or $46.99 USD per year, and includes a 3-day free trial. Where we support your local currency, checkout charges a fixed amount in that currency instead; the exact figure is shown before you pay.

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Premium access until then.
• If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you will not be charged.
• Payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• Prices may change; we will give notice before a change affects you.

Premium may include optional add-ons such as connecting a custom domain to your profile. Those features are provided as-is and depend on third-party services.

You may stop using verses.lol and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other users, or create legal or security risk. Where practical we will give notice, but we may act immediately for serious violations. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply.

verses.lol is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any collaboration or service arranged through it will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, verses.lol and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform or from any transaction between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and communicate material changes through the platform. Continuing to use verses.lol after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
