Collabs & Listings

• Feature — you're looking for (or offering) a guest verse, hook, or contribution on a track.
• Open verse — a song of yours with a verse still free on it, put out for someone to hop on, with a license and revision terms.
• Beat — a finished instrumental looking for an artist to write to it. The mirror of an open verse: same idea, except nobody has sung on it yet.

A beat makes one offer, and you pick which:

• Free — anyone can take it. No money, no split.
• Royalty split — you keep a share of the finished song instead of a fee.
• Flat price — a one-off fee in dollars, plus the license it comes with.

It is one or the other, never both: a beat asking for $80 and half the song is two offers on one instrumental, and the second one is the one nobody reads. Features and open verses are different — a guest verse can be paid and take points as well, because that is a real deal people do.

Price a beat and you also choose a license: Lease (they use it, you carry on selling it), Non-exclusive (the same, sold as its own licence) or Exclusive(they get it outright and you take it down). A free or split beat has no license field, because a license answers "what do I get for the money" and there is no money.

Head to the collabs marketplace and choose to create a listing, then fill in the details:

• Title & description — what you want, in plain terms.
• Genres — up to five, so the right people find you.
• Audio preview & cover art — a clip and image to represent the listing. Required on open verses and beats, optional on features. Covers are 5MB on Free and 20MB on Premium, resized before upload either way.
• Details — BPM range, key, and turnaround, so expectations are clear up front. Worth filling in on any listing, since the board filters on the first two; required on a beat.
• The deal — a price, a royalty split, or free. On a beat that's one choice of three; on a feature or open verse you can name a price and offer a split alongside it.

Previews are trimmed in your browser and uploaded as MP3, so the file you post is far smaller than the one you picked. Source files up to 75MB and 15 min can be loaded into the trimmer. If you do not move the handles at all, your original file is posted untouched.

The preview can come straight from your Vault instead of a fresh upload. Attach a track and the listing follows it — promote a new version and the preview updates with it.

The collabs board is open to anyone, signed in or not. Filters and search run instantly against what's already on screen:

• All / Features / Opens / Beats — the three kinds of listing.
• Tags — pick any number of genres; a listing matches on any one of them.
• Key — pick any number; a listing matches on any one of them.
• BPM — a tempo range. Leave either end blank to leave it open. A listing matches if its own tempo overlaps yours, so a beat posted as 130–160 answers a search for 140–150.
• All Prices / Free / Royalty split / Paid — one per kind of offer. A split isn't "free": it has its own bucket. The price slider is a dollar range, so split listings sit outside it once you narrow it.
• Newest First / Oldest First.
• Search — matches title, artist and genre.

Key and BPM filter every kind of listing, not just beats — anything that recorded them. A listing that left them blank isn't shown while one of those two filters is set.

Promoted listings sort above the rest for 24 hours — $1.99USD one-off (or the equivalent in your local currency), or one free promotion a month on Premium. It's a tier break, not a separate row: inside each half the sort you picked still applies.

Free accounts keep 3 listings active at once; Premium keeps 10. At the limit, complete or remove one to free a slot. A listing marked in progress still holds its slot — only completing or deleting it gives the slot back.

Posting itself is rate limited on every plan: 12 new listings an hour and 30a day, counted across collabs and services together. It's an anti-spam floor, not a tier perk — deleting and reposting still counts.

Nothing is deleted when that happens, and you are told twice: once 3 days before, while a repost still keeps it on the board without a gap, and once on the day it comes off. Both emails list the affected listings and link straight to your dashboard.

Your dashboard marks it Expired instead of Active, and shows a Repost button. Reposting gives it another 14 days and sorts it as new — it is the same listing, not a copy, so its messages, ratings, link and attached Vault track all carry over.

• You can only repost once a listing has actually come off the board. Until then it is already there, and Promote is the way to move it up.
• An expired listing still holds its active slot until you remove it, and it still shows on your profile.
• If the turnaround date is what took it off the board, editing that date is the fix — reposting won't bring it back on its own.
